Following from the previous years success, the CTL wanted to communicate their achievements in an attractive (clear, concise, and visually appealing way) to stand out among traditional text-based reports.

My role in this project involved managing the development of several eLearning micro-modules that complemented the sustainability training courses delivered by the client. I acted as a learning development manager on behalf of the client. I liaised between the team members on our side (SMEs, Senior Stakeholders, IDs and Programme Directors) and the learning development company, ensuring the project's smooth and successful completion.

Managing Migration and SetUp of Online Courses on Canvas LMS Platform

My role involved managing the migration of all training content from the current platform to the new Canvas LMS. It involved learning the new LMS, investigating the best practices and planning the entire project quickly. I was responsible for planning, designing, and setting up courses and course blueprints, redesigning the current course workflow to align with the platform, and training staff to use the new LMS setup.

My role involved guiding the client through the production process, creating a suite of 25 open education resources in various formats, designing and developing guides, infographics and animations, and editing existing videos. The project involved working with the client and SMEs panel.
Online Training Producer and Facilitator: Leadership Skills Training

Role: eLearning Consultant/Project Manager
This contract involved producing instructor-led virtual online training courses for senior managers of big corporate and blue-chip companies. The training was were very hands-on and intensive - groups were big (up to 40 people), and sessions lasted, on average, from two to eight hours. My role required designing online production guides and supporting coaches to deliver training via WebEx, Zoom, and MS Teams. As the online training producer, I looked after technology, assisted facilitators, managed all breakroom group work, and resolved technical issues.
Curriculum Development and Planning

The project involved guiding and supporting a cross-institutional team of academics (LyIT, NUIG, UCC, and external project manager) through the initial stages of course planning. I managed the project from the instructional and learning design perspective, guiding SMEs through the initial curriculum planning, providing instructional advice to SMEs recording content for their modules, creating branding resources, editing and captioning videos recorded by SMEs and creating interactive H5P presentations and videos.

Planning and designing an onboarding training for Americal Express. My role on this project involved working with the client's team (LRN's Project Manager, Instructional Designers, Graphic Designers and Developers) and their client team (AMEX senior HR and Training and Development team) to plan and design an engaging onboarding experience for new hires.

Managing enterprise-level eLearning projects from initiation to execution, ensuring that all project requirements, deadlines, and schedules are on track. Liaising between all the stakeholders - senior management, instructional designers, eLearning developers, and multimedia specialists to develop high-quality training content for eLearning programmes.

I was responsible for designing a custom-based online course for Exelon employees, training them in corporate credit card and expense management. This was a scenario-based training for new highers and mangers promoted to deal with the expenses.

Standards Training for PQMD NGO

I was responsible for designing an Articulate Rise online course for the PQMD; an NGO focused on securing medical supplies and service donations. The goal was to outline nine standards designed to better align sending and host organisations and improve the process and practice of medical missions and programs, including training and capacity-building efforts.
Managing Development of MOOCs Based on Accredited MSc Programmes
Timeframe: 2018-2020
Client: DCU
Role: eLearning Designer/Project Manager
During that time, I managed the development of over 20 online courses. I worked closely with SMEs (academic staff) and other key internal stakeholders on planning and coordinating the ‘conversion’ of academic programmes and modules into online courses. My role involved both project management and hands-on eLearning design and development (planning online courses, storyboarding, scripting, green-room recording, editing videos and developing Articulate Storyline and H5P activities).
