In this video, I am showing several free screen recording apps and I explain how to use screen capturing function in ZOOM.
PROS and CONS of using ZOOM to screen record:
Pros:
- It is free
- Option to record screen and webcam at the same time
- Option to collaborate while recording
- Suitable for recording video conversations
- Extensive annotation options
- Can save screen grabs while recording
- Exporting separate audio files
- Not great audio quality
- Webcam footage quality very poor if displayed on fullscreen
- Only one video output option (MP4)
